Safeguarding
The safety and wellbeing of our children and young people are at the heart of everything we do.
We believe that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and we work tirelessly to create a secure, happy environment where every pupil can flourish. A culture of safeguarding is embedded across both our Ridge Hill and Pensnett sites.
At Pens Meadow, we ensure that all staff and volunteers are highly trained and share our commitment to protecting our pupils from harm. Whether in the classroom, in our hydrotherapy pool, or out in the community, your child’s safety is our absolute priority.

Operation Encompass
Pens Meadow is proud to be part of Operation Encompass, a partnership between West Midlands Police and local schools.
This initiative ensures that if the police attend an incident of domestic abuse where a child is present, the school is notified before the start of the next school day. This allows us to provide immediate, quiet support and a listening ear for your child and your family during difficult times.
