New Build Progress
In January 2026, Pens Meadow School officially opened the doors to our brand-new, purpose-built facility on the former Pensnett High School site.
This multi-million-pound investment from Dudley Council has transformed our vision into a reality, providing a state-of-the-art environment where our 155 pupils, aged 3 to 19, are now thriving. Our extensive grounds are now a hub of activity. From the rustling leaves in our Forest School area to the energy on our Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA), our pupils are enjoying the freedom and safety of high-quality outdoor learning and play spaces.
Plus, our school isn't just a site for learning; it’s a model for the future. We are proud to be operating out of a highly sustainable building that features:
-
Solar Energy: Our PV solar panels are actively generating clean electricity to power our school.
-
Low-Carbon Heating: We utilise air-source heat pumps to maintain a comfortable, energy-efficient climate year-round.
-
A Healthy Environment: The design prioritises natural light and advanced ventilation, creating a calm, airy atmosphere that supports the wellbeing of our entire school community.

Top-Class Facilities
Our new site was designed from the ground up to meet the specific needs of children and young people with complex needs, severe learning difficulties, and autism.
These facilities are now part of our students' daily lives:
